Currently available therapy:

VEKLURY® (remdesivir), an infusion medication administered over the course of three days for individuals who have mild-to-moderate COVID-19 and are at high risk for severe COVID-19. All patients with COVID-19 who may be at higher risk should be evaluated for treatment.
Eligibility

These in-home therapies are available for any individual who meets clinical criteria and has difficulty accessing them in the community.

How to schedule an in-home treatment
By phone: Patients and their health care providers may call the CDR Health In-home COVID-19 Treatment Call Center at (617) 644-7592 toll-free to learn more about the program and make an appointment for an in-home therapy. Representatives from CDR Health, which is operating the call center, scheduling appointments, and delivering in-home treatments are available at this number Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

CDR Health medical staff licensed in Massachusetts can write prescriptions for these therapies. The program can also work directly with a patient’s health care provider to arrange for in-home therapy.

Note: All therapies are provided by a registered nurse accompanied by a support staff person. All CDR Health staff are licensed in Massachusetts and are fully vaccinated.
